TRAVEL DATES ARE HERE!!!!!!!OUR HOLT TRAVEL GROUP

We are so excited to finally have travel dates.
After all of this waiting, it is finally starting to feel real.
My mom and I need to be in China on Sunday, September 14th.
We have decided to leave one day early to adjust to the time change and do a little extra sightseeing.
We will leave Newark, N.J. on Friday September 12th.
and arrive in Beijing late Saturday afternoon.
As far as I know right now, we will leave Beijing on Tuesday and fly south
(about a 3 hour plane ride) to Guangzhou. This is the capital city of Guangdong Province.
Our Gotcha day (the day you get your baby) will be the following day.
Our Consulate appointment is September 24th. and Katherine's visa will be issued on the 25th.
We will fly ( I think) to Hong Kong that afternoon, stay one night and fly out the following morning, Friday, September 26th.
Hopefully, the 15 hour plane ride home with an almost 2 year old will be just lovely! I know Katie will be a perfect angel! :)
I will post our itinerary as soon as I get it. It should be this week.
