My husband was up in D.C. for work, so I decided to drive up with kids.  We were able to do some sightseeing and get in some relaxing down time as well!
We had a nice weekend!

On Saturday, we visited the National Zoo and saw many animals including Panda Bears and storks.   (I took them both as signs)  LOL
On Sunday, we visited  the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery.  We were able to see the Changing of the Guards. It was quite moving.

We also saw the Lincoln Memorial and Alexander's favorite, the Washington Monument.  He just wanted to touch it!      :)


The boys really just wanted to swim in the hotel pool and have their own special snacks during the hotel's happy hour!
